Force Girls are FOUNDERS CUP 2020 Gold Champions
The Force G07 Black (A) Girls, coached by Nathan Davis and Jenny Kuehn, are the Washington Youth Soccer Founder’s Cup 2020 U13 Gold Division Champions. The girls had a great tournament this past weekend at Starfire, beating Bellevue FC 2-0 in the semifinals, and then defeating Bainbridge FC 1-0 in stoppage time of the final match of the 2020 Founder’s Cup to secure the victory and the championship.

A big shout out to the Goalkeepers and terrific team defending. The Goalkeepers had a clean sheet for 140 minutes, and were only scored on 3 times in the 7 games of the tournament. The entire ‘07 Girls team takes pride in defending well and shutting teams out, and it definitely showed in the outcome of the games in this tournament.
Two other Force teams competed in the Founders Cup finalist weekend at Starfire.
The Force ‘10 Boys coached by Lamin Sonko and Raz Sidhu made it to the semi-finals, and the Force ‘08 Girls coached by Derek Henry and Adrian Foshey were finalists.
Congratulations to all of the Force teams who competed in the 2020 Founders Cup, and especially the Force ‘07 Girls coaches and players on a well deserved tournament championship. Go Force!
